06.15.16 - E-Filing Training this Friday

At the start of October, attorneys will be able to file court documents with Ada County any time of day from any location. It will be the second county in the state to launch e-filing. This Friday, June 17, the Idaho Supreme Court is hosting a free in-person training to help prepare attorneys for the change.

The training will be held at the Idaho Supreme Court in the Lincoln Room, located in the building’s basement, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Any attorney who attends will receive 1.5 continuing legal education (CLE). E-filing trainings will be held every other Friday through the end of September (click here for detailed schedule). Additional online seminars are available for free through Tyler Technologies. If you would like to register for an online training session, click here.

Electronic filing will be mandatory across Idaho in the next few years. The Idaho Judiciary is confident e-filing will allow for improved information delivery and help increase Idahoans’ access to fair and efficient justice.
