08.31.16 - Mandatory e-Filing for Criminal Cases in Ada Less Than a Week Away

Starting Tuesday, September 6, electronic filing will be mandatory for all criminal cases in Ada County. 

The Idaho Supreme Court wants to make sure you are comfortable with this change and understand how it will impact the way you work. If you do not know how to file documents electronically, please take a free online e-filing seminar offered through Tyler Technologies. 

The Idaho Supreme Court is also hosting free training sessions to ensure everyone is prepared for the change. Attorneys who attend the trainings are eligible to receive 1.5 CLE credits. All trainings are held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Lincoln room at the Idaho Supreme Court. Here is a list of upcoming training dates:

  • Thursday, September 1, 2016
  • Friday September 9, 2016
  • Wednesday, September 14, 2016
  • Friday, September 23, 2016
  • Friday, September 30, 2016
  • Thursday, October 6, 2016

You will need to create an account in iCourt to file cases electronically. If you have not yet created an account, please visit https://idaho.tylerhost.net/ofsweb. Tyler support is available to help attorneys set up their e-filing accounts. If you need assistance, please call 1-800-297-5377 during normal business hours.

Attorneys will also be able to voluntarily e-file civil cases starting Tuesday, September 6. On October 3, electronic filing for civil cases will become mandatory.
