09.30.16 - Mandatory e-Filing in Ada County Starts Monday; Make Sure You're Ready

Starting Monday, October 3, electronic filing for all civil and criminal cases will be mandatory in Ada County. This will have a significant impact on the legal community and attorneys should make sure they are ready.

In order to file cases electronically, you will need to create an account in iCourt. We encourage you to set up your account before Monday. If you have not yet created an account, please visit https://idaho.tylerhost.net/ofsweb. Tyler Technologies’ support is available to help attorneys set up their e-filing accounts. If you need assistance, please call 1-800-297-5377 during normal business hours.

The Idaho Supreme Court is hosting an in-person e-filing training today, September 30 from noon to 1:30 p.m. The training will take place in the Lincoln Room in the basement of the Idaho Supreme Court. If you cannot make this session, the final in-person training for Ada County e-filing will take place at the same time and place on Thursday, October 6. Attorneys who attend either of the trainings are eligible to receive 1.5 CLE credits.

For those unable to make the trainings, there is a free online e-filing seminar offered through Tyler Technologies, the Idaho Supreme Court’s technology partner for the iCourt project.

If you would like more information on e-filing, please review the Rule on Electronic Filing and Service.
