11.18.16 -The iCourt transition continues in six new counties
Idaho’s transition to a modernized court case management system is picking up speed. iCourt has successfully launched in Twin Falls County and Ada County and is set to go live in an additional 10 counties this spring. Now, the Idaho Supreme Court and Tyler Technologies are turning their focus to Adams, Washington, Payette, Gem, Canyon, and Owyhee counties.
On December 1, the iCourt project will officially kickoff in those six counties, jointly known as Wave 2, and work will begin to get them ready to transition to the new system. Currently, iCourt is scheduled to launch in the Wave 2 counties on October 10, 2017. Electronic filing will be required for all attorneys shortly following the launch.
Once iCourt launches it will improve access to court records, increase information exchange among judicial partners and increased efficiencies within the judicial system. While we know this change will bring many positive benefits to our state, we know it is a significant change and we are committed to keeping you informed throughout the process. Ahead of iCourt’s launch in your judicial district, we will also hold in-person trainings.
